Fightstar's EP is out today, it's called They Liked You Better When You Were Dead. It features the tracks Palahniuk's Laughter, Lost Like Tears In Rain, Amethyst, Mono, Speak Up, plus a hidden track - Hazy Eyes. Unfortunately, the fantastic Until Then doesn't make an appearance.
Anyway, it's available from HMV, hopefully Woolworths and Virgin also. It's only a fiver, so get buying. In other Fightstar news, there's a small interview with Charlie in TOTP.

Also, by request of Cat, vote James!
Laura recorded the Newsround interview onto DVD, so I'm going to ask her if I can upload it. :-)
Already, two people are copying the WIGTSF idea. As you may have heard, V were dropped yesterday and decided to call it quits (it's a bit weird that Busted, V and Undesided toured together in November/December, and by the end of February all three bands have split). Fans are planning to buy You Stood Up as a tribute.. some Busted fans are also looking to plan B - buying 3am/Thunderbirds. To be honest, I'm happy with the success Kat's idea had, and I don't want people to waste their money even more.
I've answered all your questions, by the way. Finally.
26.02.05
The Newsround interview with Kat is TODAY on CBBC (grr why not channel 4?! lol) at 3.50pm. I can't record it, but my mum is getting her friend to record it for us.. I still don't know how to get videos on the computer but I'm going to TRY haha.

There is a bit in Kerrang about what's on Charlie's iPod:
Basement Ghost Singing - Armor For Sleep
5 Minutes Alone - Pantera
Bike Scene - Taking Back Sunday
Paper Tigers - Thrice
In Gratitude - Aereogramme
The Ideal Height - Biffy Clyro
2 Stone - yourcodenameis:milo
Understanding In A Car Crash - Thursday
First Breath After Coma - Explosions In The Sky
Feiticeira - Deftones
I'll Be Your Emergency - Brigade
10.45 Amsterdam Conversations - FFAF
Hurt - Johnny Cash
Good choice. <3 That's my favourite Biffy song as well.

'Hey Clazz!!! I've got news! Matt has said that he'll go solo, that his CD will be on sale whenever he WANTS it to be but that he'll release a single in November surely. And there are TOUR dates, the 1st is on 19 November 2005 in the Shepherd Bush Empire, London. All the concerts will be in "small" places. This is all I know and Matt said it himself. lots of kisses from Tanita.'
OoOoO. The dates are probably pretty vague - the single could be any time at the end of the year, and the gig date is likely to change. At least we've got a rough idea of what's going on hahah. :-D I can't wait.

Secondly, Kat has been invited down to do an interview with NEWSROUND about the plan, wowwww. She's invited me along too, but unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to make it. Still pretty damn cool though.
Thirdly, I want to apologise for the rant yesterday, I'm surprised I didn't get any complaints haha. This one won't be as dramatic.
'Hahaha look at you getting so worked up about it. You only posted my comment on the site so you can get people to stick up for you. You always do that, does it really make you feel better? And you were to arrogant, you were EXPECTING it to work and it's funny that it failed, because it was obvious it was never going to work. Why do you feel such a need to prove how much you love them? It's so childish, you'll be laughing at yourself when you're 50.'
1. I only posted it because I didn't have time to answer questions (which is the same with this one), and I was pissed off after failing an exam so I felt like ranting.
2. If I want people to stick up for me, I don't have to post it on here.
3. We didn't fail, we just didn't succeed. Although we did. It still got no.86 and numerous press mentions. Anyway, as I said, I didn't come up with the idea, I just promoted it.
4. I didn't know whether to expect it to work, but fine, I won't be optimistic ever again. *rolls eyes*
4. It was a way of saying thank you.
5. I won't laugh at myself, a lot of people tell me I will, but at the end of the day Busted are the reason I'm still alive.. so I won't be laughing.
6. You are an idiot. :-D But well done for spelling arrogant right this time. ;-)
21.02.05
Some people are fucking idiots.

I've changed the download of the moment, but you can still download the press conference audio here. The download is now basically some random clips from America put together with the remixed What I Go To School For playing in the background. It shows the boys in a much better light than in America Or Busted. :-)
By the way, it's on yousendit.com which only allows 25 people to download it, so if you can't download, put something in the news form about it and I'll reupload it. :-)

There are rumours circulating about a greatest hits album to be released on April 4th. I have no idea if there is any truth in this, but the rumour states that the CD will be called 'Our Life In A Greatest Hits', it will be a double CD with the greatest hits in the first CD and rare b sides and UNRELEASED tracks on CD2. I will look out for more information on amazon and HMV, so watch this space.
Today's your last chance to purchase What I Go To School For so what are you waiting for?! BUY BUY BUY!!
It's currently NUMBER ONE (!!!!!!!!) in BOTH the HMV chart and the amazon pop single chart (third - but should be second - in general CD singles and ninth - but behind two pre-releases so they don't count - in general overall singles!!). As I said in the last update, it doesn't account for all the singles being sold in other major retailers, so WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please remember that this is NOT an official release, therefore the only promotion has been made by the fans.
If you haven't bought it yet, remember how much Busted did for you. This is your chance to do something to say thanks. The thing that's special about this is it's been planned COMPLETELY by the FANS, and therefore is a surprise for the boys to show how dedicated we are. Thank you everyone for your support so far, we honestly can't believe it's actually happening.

More news on the tribute single.. on HMV, it is the SIXTH best seller at the moment, the top three being different versions of U2's single, so they don't count haha. On amazon, it's the second best selling pop single, and 22nd in everything!! KEEP BUYING IT, we need all the help we can get because those charts do not reflect sales in major retailers such as Virgin, Woolworths and possibly HMV. The plan has also been mentioned on the Orange World News or something, woo.
I've been slacking (okay I haven't, I've been doing two exams) and forgot to update you with some random news from here and here.. and another one here, at the bottom. There's also stuff about Charlie saying that Busted were being turned into a 'boyband machine', I'll try and get the whole interview up some time (from NME) rather than some random misleading article.
In other news, the Naomi award winners have been announced and I'm going to go a bit off topic on this. (you'd better not think these are serious HAHA) Busted got 'worst British attempt at rock'.. yes, because they 'try' to be rock, my arse. :-)
On a lighter note, McFly got worst British breakthrough act. At least that one almost makes sense (the fact they ARE a breakthrough act).
Anyway, quick explanation of these awards shows the inanity (is that even a WORD?! Well it is now, tell the dictionary Clazz claimed it) - 'Most awards take themselves too seriously. The Naomis recognise those who shouldn't have enjoyed what little success they have had.'
Nah, changing the face of pop isn't being very successful, is it?! :-D (and to the person who said I'm an arrogant idiot for thinking that they did - they paved the way for other guitar bands like McFly and Rooster, they kicked a lot of manufactured stuff out, and they put a different light on pop music. If that's not changing pop music, I don't know what is.)
But one that we can all whole-heartedly agree on:-
Outstandingly Bad Contribution to Music: Louis Walsh.

Matt's going to be on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway this week, so don't miss that.
Back to the plan - a few people have asked me or someone from the UK to buy What I Go To School For for them. If you're willing to pay £6, either go here and reply to the post, or email me and I'll get back to you about it. Obviously it's hard to know who to trust and so on, but I'll try my best.
14.02.05
We have also come up with another plan. Originally, we wanted to do Sleeping With The Light On, and I was thinking perhaps we should request WIGTSF on radio stations to get it into other charts that are based on airplay. I suddenly thought, why not SWTLO?! So come on, get requesting on all your local radio stations, as well as online ones such as Hit40UK and Capital FM etc etc. I will try and get a list of UK radio stations some time.
So that's What I Go To School For - buy from HMV to get it into the official charts. Sleeping With The Light On - request it on radio stations for other charts!
AND WOW! Huuuuuuuuuge thank you to MARIAAAA for making this site a FANLISTING! <333!!! Thank you so much hun! <3 While I'm on the plugging, go join my fanlisting as well haha. :-D Shameless plugs ahoy.

A lot of you have been asking where you can see/hear the press conference. There are three clips here to watch (including some stuff I've never seen before.. James pouring his water is funny), and you can listen to the entire conference by clicking here. Enjoy.. or something. :-(
I've added a FAQ to the tribute single promotion page. :-)
On with some proper news. Hopefully not just a rumour, this is from News Of The World (thanks to Emma for typing it up):-
REVENGE OR BUST
A girl who was attacked and spat at by playground thugs hopes to hit back at bullies with a song backed by Busted star Matt Willis.
Claire Pear, 14, was subjected to a year of abuse at Finham School, Coventry. Things got so bad she had to leave and was put on anti-depressants last year.
Everyone Is Someone was written by Matt's brother, Darren Willis, 25, and negotiations are going on to get it released.
Claire said: 'I want other victims of bullying to realise that they can survive.'
My comment - who would seriously call their kid that?! It's mean. But let's hope the song will be good. :-D
12.02.05
By the way, some people are bloody mad. £205?! I wonder if they'll actually pay it.

10.02.05
I found some news I didn't know about on mattjameswillis.com (new site, still under construction but it's cool hehe) - Alex Zane bought a guitar from Matt for charity.
There are a few pictures of Matt and James at the Brits, you can find them on gettyimages.com and wireimage.com.
09.02.05
There's an interview with Matt in Sneak, Charlie in NME, and James is apparently holding auditions for a new band next month.. more info on that coming as soon as I find it. TOTP has six pages of Busted, including their last ever interview, plus five posters. Smash Hits has a souvenir poster, I haven't got that yet though, so there are probably other things.
Thank you to Kim who told me that on TMF's top costumes in music videos, Busted came 7th with Crashed The Wedding. :-)
Just to plug this again:-

CLICK FOR MORE!! Also go visit the livejournal community with loads of promo discussion and other icons.
Completely Busted-unrelated, but you can listen to the Brit awards live (before it's shown on TV tomorrow night) here (click listen live).

I'll answer your questions this week, we're off school from Thursday, but most of the time will be taken up with studying. In answer to some though, yes I am a girl, no I'm not a lesbian, yes I like girls, go figure. :-) Also stop asking me why Busted split up, it's in the FAQ about what happened.
05.02.05
Haha just got some random news in the form - in the new McFly video for Comic Relief (All About You, a - pretty bland, in my opinion - acoustic song), Harry Hill is featured sporting a badge saying 'I am a Busted fan' and some recent issues of TV Hits and Smash Hits manage to make an appearance, both with Busted on the cover. Oo.
04.02.05
Thanks to Cristal who told me that there is a Busted poster in the March issue of American magazine Tigerbeat. The boys will also be in the next issue of It's Hot, and Fightstar have invaded eight pages of the current issue of Attitude.
I've got exams starting on the 15th through to the 23rd, so I won't be on much prior to and during that time. If I hear anything exciting, I'll make sure I let you all know.
01.02.05
It's February! I realised last night that I updated every single day of January except the 10th. Haha damn, there's always at least one day I miss out.
Weebl's latest animation is dedicated to Busted.. the ending makes me laugh haha.
James from Biffy Clyro had a bit to say about Charlie/Busted/Fightstar in the Daily Record - click. :-)
