If Amanda gives me permission to put the song back on, then I will, but until then, I feel I have no right to keep it on there.
In other Matt news, there is apparently going to be a song called Goodbye Lucy, although I'm not sure if that's true.

However, today, I came online and had roughly 20-25 people going 'OFMGODFMGDOM YOU HEARD BROKEN?!?!"£%!¬' and I just thought 'shit'. My friend and I have desperately been trying to stop the song leaking any further, but unfortunately, the damage has been done so we've given up on that.
Out of respect for Matt, I will not put the mp3 up for download, however because it is only one song, I have put it on Radio.Blog for you to stream. Lyrics are here - there are a couple of bits I'm stuck on though.

And since then, so much has happened. Fightstar have gained a lot of popularity while touring more than it should be humanly possible to (at the same time as writing their album), James has managed to get a band together and written, recorded and released an album, and Matt, after spending time in rehab, has written and almost finished recording an album. It's strange to think that, just a year after the split, we're watching James on TV again in a brand new band, while Charlie tours with his not-so-brand-new band.
I want to thank all three of the boys for the amazing memories they have left us with over the past few years. I have met so many fantastic people I never knew existed, I've been introduced to loads of great bands, and most of all, I've been given ambition, determination to fulfill some sort of career in music. I don't know where I'd be without them, but I do know that my life, along with thousands of others, would be completely different.
So today, I'm just going to reminisce over what they have done. Listen to the Busted albums, singles, all the rare tracks, watch the live DVD, watch America Or Busted, watch loads of videos... *sigh*
Busted, we won't forget you. <3 (Go here to read my other reminiscent message.)

Firefox users: I'm trying to fix that side bit, I have no idea why it's going like that, silly thing.

The only thing I'm not sure about is how the news boxes are set out... they might be a bit cramped, so comments on that would be appreciated. I'm trying to make the site as easy to navigate as possible.

I need to sort this site out, I have some ideas for a layout which will hopefully become reality in the next few days. Please understand that I have exams coming up, and a whole load of coursework to do before then, but I will do my best.

I'm so excited, I think Matt's music is going to amazing!

Anyway, I have some news on Matt. My friend Jemima has been talking to a band called Kobe, who are good friends with Son Of Dork, and are also friends with Matt. They said that Matt has just finished writing his album with the band A, and they also revealed that the album is sounding amazing. Apparently it won't be out until December - but I'd rather he released a fantastic album that he's spent ages working on than a rushed one with less quality songs. Not that I'm looking at anyone in particular.
They also mentioned that the single, Hey Kid, should be coming out in May (so that's three months I've heard now lol), and described it as 'wicked' but 'not the best song on the album'. So a huge thank you to Jemima (and Kobe!) for finding all that out!

And yet, just a year later, here we are with James in a whole new band, with an album already out. Fightstar are still going strong, and most people are eagerly awaiting Matt's solo releases. Even after a difficult few months where no one was sure what was going to happen, while Fightstar's success has increased loads, Matt and James both pulled through and are catapulting themselves back into the music industry, where they belong.
Let's hope this year will be a darn sight better than the last!
