Oo and Cat just told me that Q play a remix of Year 3000 and No Scrubs (TLC) so I was wondering if anyone has it? I haven't heard about it, but I wanna hear it now heh.

I've also been installing phpfanbase on the fanlistings, I haven't done the Crashed The Wedding video or Damon ones yet, will do them later on today, I hope.
While I was answering the questions I've done so far, I did some research on Eve Bicker (James's new rumoured girlfriend) and it turns out she's got an interesting history. Girls Aloud's first single, Sound Of The Underground, wasn't as original as they proudly claimed it to be. It was actually recorded a year earlier by a band called Orchid - one of the members being Eve Bicker. She also co-wrote Love/Hate, which features on Girls Aloud's first album. You can find pictures of her and James here (search 'Busted').
In other news - click haha, joy. Wasn't Gareth going to come back as a 'rock star' at one point? There is also a poll on hit40uk.com about who's going to do best out of James, Matt and Charlie.
Anyway, some more reminiscing.. I'm downloading about fifty gazillion videos on WinMX, one of them that's almost finished is part of a program about boybands. The general consensus in comments is that it's thanks to Busted that people don't want any more Boyzones or Westlifes, and that boybands are becoming better because of them. I just think its amazing that something that started with two guys sitting writing songs about fancying school teachers and time travel turned into a three-piece band who have pretty much started a revolution.
And yeah, I know some of you will disagree with me on the revolution thing. Everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but I think changing the face of boybands/pop music counts as kinda revolutionary.
By the way (this only applies to one person) - please don't bring in my personal life especially as what you said was fucking nasty. Please never come back to this site if you have NO level of respect, because saying something like that was completely unnecessary and out of order. You don't know me and you don't know my parents.. and I don't know you, but from what you said, I can conclude that you are a wanker.

A bit random, but thanks to Shazwick who told me that Sleeping With The Light On has been voted the 180th best song ever from Now CDs. Who's David was also in it somewhere around 400.
Ooh, and I have a few spare copies of the What I Go To School For single if anyone wants one. If you're willing to pay £6 (to cover costs and postage) then drop me an email and we can sort something out. :-)

Random and not very interesting, but at 4pm today, there will be an On The Couch session on The Hits (Sky/Freeview) and they'll be looking at video locations, including a Busted video.
25.03.05
Anyway, a bit of random news - Matt was spotted at the Good Charlotte gig last night at Brixton Academy. There is also a picture in The Sun of James with Eve Bicker.. hmm, I don't know what's going on there.
I'll answer questions before next Tuesday.

Charlie is number two in the MTV's Sexiest Males of 2005, I'm not sure if James and Matt are anywhere in that.
I've typed up the Fightstar article in this week's Kerrang!, you can read that here.
Balls, I forgot to say there was a 'best of America Or Busted' thing on MTV tonight at 8pm, it was on the other night as well, so it may be repeated again.

And now for the random news of the day.
A band (I haven't heard them myself yet, but doing a bit of research, a lot of people described them as punk/ska) called Lightyear did a song called Trumpet Trousers. A snippet of the lyrics in the chorus:-
Chin up Chas
At least you're not the
Drummer from Busted
How random haha.

NOW GO BUY MILES SLATER (sung by Matt - seriously, listen to the sample!!!) - SUNSHINE LOVER!!!!
CURRENTLY OUT OF STOCK. I don't know if it will become available again.
Oh my God. I think I died when I found that hahahahaaa. <3!!
15.03.05
With that out of the way, I got Smash Hits finally today. Matt said he's considering acting if the right role comes up, but he's also considering going solo - hopefully he'll go solo because I think he'd be really, really good. He has so much on stage charisma, as seen on the live Busted DVD, and other live videos.
James said he is 100% GUARANTEED to stay in the music industry - he's been invited to join a songwriting team called The Location, who have written hits for people like Britney Spears. So there you go.
Some funny unseen pictures can be found in TOTP magazine.. Busted were on the cover of It's Hot, but I don't know what happened to that because Orkney never seemed to get it, and today I went to buy it and it had a couple of McFly members on the cover. Great.

Sleeping With The Light On has been named the 12th greatest boyband song of all time, thank you to Emma for that.
She also sent me a picture of Eve Bicker, who is supposedly James's new girlfriend. But that's according to The Sun, and we all know how reliable THAT source is.
I've answered all your questions, I've got loads of emails to sort out (links and affiliate applications etc) but I can't do it now because I have schoolwork to be getting on with. I will soon, though.

HAHA.
They plug bustedonline.org, so yay. <3 Here are the funniest names they called James:
1. Busted munchkin.
2. Spikey-haired e-number chomper.
3. Hyperactive guitar-spanker.
4. Busted gerbil.
Oh my, hahaha.
In other news, on AOL Teens, they have some sort of karaoke chart. Sleeping With The Light On is number 4, while Year 3000 is number 7. Random lol, thanks to you for that.

I will answer the questions at the weekend, again I apologise for leaving them for a couple of weeks.
By the way, a few of you have asked where the picture is from - it's a poster in the current issue of American magazine Tiger Beat - click here to see the original picture.

Basically, James said he finds it a bit frustrating that people are hearing it, because it's a song he hasn't finished writing ('there's a big hole in the middle' <- well I didn't notice it), but he's glad we like it so we should wait for the 'new shit'. Whether this means new material or a new version of that song, I don't know.
About taking the mp3 off this site or whatever, I think it's a bit late for that to be honest. Also, if he IS making a new version of it, then I for one think it'll be interesting to compare them. I know he told us not to download it because it's 'rubbish' but most people think it's wicked. If he does want me to take it off, he can email me. (LOL the cheek. :-p)
There is to be a compilation CD released in April featuring (and being organised by) Mr Charlie Simpson, and also his brother Edd's band, Prego. It's called The Suffolk Explosion.
Charlie is also going to be DJing (yes, really) on Friday at the Transmission club at 333 Old Street, London. The club is open from 10pm to 5am. Apparently you can get in for £5 if you text 'transmission' followed by your name to 83248 before 6pm on Friday. More information can probably be found here.

And now there's a rumour that Mark (ex-V) is going to be either the drummer or frontman in his band. Argh. No idea what's going on. Either way, it's reported that James has lots of songs written and ready to record.
Okay, we are on a mission. Three, actually.
1. Someone on a forum said that he's heard the James song before. I asked him how and if there were any others, and he said there are plenty on pirate websites. I know I shouldn't encourage this sort of thing, but since we can't get the songs anywhere else, I'm determined to find them haha.
2. One of the unreleased song titles is the Smart Alec theme tune (written by James). Since it's a theme tune, is there anywhere we can get it?
3. Matt recorded two songs with Miles Slater before Busted, the tracks are called Sunshine Lover (released as a single, possibly only on vinyl) and Make You Mine. No one can find them. Yet.
Number 1 is the main one, it's exciting knowing that there are never-heard-before tracks out there, but it's annoying knowing we can't get hold of them haha. Anyone have any ideas?
Ooh and I just found out that apparently End Up Like This was written by James for.. YELLOWCARD. Wow. Lyrics are here, by the way, there are a couple of bits I'm not sure about.
Oh yeah, and Fightstar are no.4 in the indie album chart, no.18 in the indie singles. :-)
06.03.05
AND I HAVE AN EXCLUSIVE SONG BY HIM FOR YOU TO DOWNLOAD!!!!!!!!! It's called End Up Like This - right click and save target as!!
EMMA I CANNOT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!! <3!!!
05.03.05
There's a bit in the Mirror with Matt's girlfriend, Emma Griffiths, who says that although Matt's had a tough few weeks, he's trying to get back on track now, and he's been in the studio. She says he'll 'definitely be back'. :-) Source: here, thanks to Emma for telling me about that.
You may remember that James (not THAT James lol) sent me a list of song titles written by the boys - if not, then look in the archives, it's at the bottom of the February 2005 page. Anyway, he's been back on the site and there's a new one. It's called 'Ticket Out Of Loserville' and it's written by James, Charlie Grant and Pete Woodroffe. Both of those also co-wrote 'Holly, I'm The One' and 'Baywatch Girl'.
I've done a bit of googling with those names, Pete Woodroffe has written and produced for Def Leppard (interestingly, so has Steve Robson, who co wrote/produced Busted's first album). I can't find any information on Charlie Grant, except there's an R&B (rhythm and blues, not the shit you get now) soul singer/keyboard player with the name, which.. probably isn't the same person.

1. James and Matt were spotted at Heathrow Airport a couple of days ago heading for Birmingham together.
2. James has recently been holding his new band auditions and Matt has accompanied him for moral support.
3. James was in Dublin on February 16th on a search for a bassist.
4. There was an article in the Star reporting that Matt may be doing a collaboration with Robbie Williams - what the hell?! That's probably based on the picture of them together at the Brit awards. Hmm.
5. Oh, and something about Matt nicknaming Damon.. KING BADGER.
I also got a nice email from someone through the form ^ so thank you to whoever sent this, I thought it was really sweet:-
Well, to answer your question Busted were so good because they believed in what they were doing. They set themselves a target and reached it whilst influencing many people along the way. They truly changed the face of music for the next generation and although people can try nobody will ever be able to live up to what James Bourne, Charlie Simpson and Matt Willis did. They will never be forgotton.
*sniffs* Well how about that. <3
03.03.05
02.03.05
*sigh*
Oh, and Fightstar thank James and Matt on their EP. :-) They also gave a shout out to fightstaronline.com (the site I run with Jen) at their gig in Oxford tonight, woweee. <3!
In other news, James is in a magazine. You'll never guess which one. He's in.. *drum roll please* KERRANG. It's only small, but he says about Simple Plan: 'They were f**king good. I missed them when they played in America, which was annoying, so I definitely had to come tonight.
Back to Fightstar, oh dear. Dan has posted on the forum about it, because for one thing, it's not a single, and should NOT be eligible for the charts. However, they have printed 1000 vinyls with two tracks, which somehow ended up being registered for the charts. He said that on Monday, 3500 copies of the EP were bought, meaning that if sales were consistent, they would be at no.9 in the charts this weekend.
They've also got some more tour dates in May and June, so check out the schedule page for those.

There are 18 America Or Busted DVDs (unofficial) on sale on eBay for £10 each, with free p+p to the UK (£3 elsewhere). Click here to bag a copy. There is also one here, the cover is different but it still costs £10.
If you pop along to V's official site, you can read the announcement confirming their split. :-( In this announcement, they kindly blame Busted.
'However, for whatever reasons, it just hasn't happened for us as big as we would have liked. It's no-ones fault, it's just that music at the moment isn't quite ready for an all singing, all dancing boyband. Blame Busted. Haha, just kidding. (But seriously - do)'
The announcement on the whole amused me, not because of what it is, but because of how it's written. I'm sure Aaron wrote it, as it's written in his popjustice-y jokey style.
