Well, this is a bit sad, isn't it. :-( Obviously with the opening of sonofdorkfans.org, questions have been raised as to whether this site is staying. In short - IT IS!

Basically, sodfans.org is an add-on domain to this, meaning that it's hosted on this site, although it appears not to be. The main difference to this site will be (and trust me, after updating almost every day for over three years, it's hard for me as well) no more updates on this page.

BUT - not yet. I'm not really sure what's going to happen, because I will probably open a Matt fansite (probably with a friend), but I'm not sure if I want to until I've heard his music. Which means I could still update about him on here. So until his career is sorted, I may just carry on doing what I've been doing and updating this site as well as the other sites. I don't know.

SONOFDORKFANS.ORG

IS OPEN!!!!!!!

Hope you all like it hehe! In other news, WOWEEEEEEE!!! I completely forgot to check the BT DMA awards to see how this site did. It was voted 75th best music site in the UK, HOW WICKED IS THAT?!?!? I love you all so much, thank you for your neverending support!!

I have received some more Son Of Dork videos from the wonderful staff at jbs.com, these are from Ministry Of Mayhem:
Pre-show intro | Intro | Ram Ray | Chat | Compete for introduction | Hyena Sketch

Son Of Dork are almost definitely opening HMV in Dumfries on Tuesday.

Fightstar are doing a signing on Thursday November 3rd at HMV in Oxford Street, London, where they'll be performing live at 6pm and then signing their new single, Grand Unification (out this Monday!). You don't need wristbands to get in, so I think you can just go along.

There is also an article in The Sun - here - with a letter from Freefaller, slagging off Charlie/Busted. You can see what Charlie said about them (from NME) on the page, although The Noise Next Door also covered Green Day (and did it much worse than Freefaller), so hmm. The manufactured thing annoyed me though, I've even had an argument with Gary (Freefaller) in the past about it hahaha.

29.10.05
Another ridiculously big update, haha. Let's start with the fact I am an idiot and managed to take nearly two weeks to notice that I'd cut out half the guitar in the James wallpaper. Hahahaha, so I've amended it a bit - if you saved it before, PLEASE take the new one instead, haa. Click here - it's on there, along with the rest of the wallpapers.

Also, Yaara has been a star again and sent me the video of Son Of Dork performing and being interviewed on GMTV yesterday. Click to download!

Remember those Busted slipcases you could buy to keep your Crashed The Wedding singles in? Well, you can order one for Ticket Outta Loserville - it's completely free, all you need to do is put your details in here.

Son Of Dork are in next week's Smash Hits - to see scans, go to Son Of Dork UK and go to scans (they're the November 1st ones). Charlie is also in NME, interviewed by the legend that is Peter Robinson.

Son Of Dork will also be performing at Sherdely Park in St Helens on November 5th for Sparks In The Park. The show kicks off at 6pm and it's free.

In other news, there is an article in The Mirror about James meeting royalty at a Backstreet Boys gig. There is another article on The Sun website here about Son Of Dork, which also mentions something about Matt getting a band together. I want him to go solo. :-(

Back to a bit of Busted roots. Last night, there was a program called Paparazzi Secrets, a documentary about the Xposure photo agency. Charlie was shown hugging Matt after the press conference, then was followed by photographers to a shop. A bit random, but yeah. I didn't see it, and I don't know if it'll be repeated, but thank you to Emma for telling me about it.

And finally, Vote Son Of Dork! And I will hopefully be getting the site up THIS WEEKEND. Ha.

28.10.05
Oooooooooh, tracklisting of the album!! Here hehe, and some other news.

1. Ticket Outta Loserville
2. Eddie's Song
3. Little Things
4. Party's Over
5. Boy Band
6. Sick
7. Slacker
8. Holly I'm The One
9. Wear Me Down
10. Murder In The Mosh

So much for the grand intro, which you can find if you rewind before the first track. Ho hum. And why is Slacker on there when it's a b side? Also, 'Holly, I'm The One' is one of the songs James (not Bourne :-p) found on EMI publishing ages ago, so wahey.

27.10.05
Holy crap, LOADS of stuff today. Preview of Son Of Dork's cover of Jackson 5's I Want You Back, it's from the Digital7 site, but thanks to jbs.com staff, you can download it as an mp3. :-) Also a bigger version of another Ticket Outta Loserville cover that I didn't post is here.

In other downloads, Yaara has sent me the interview from Red Dragon FM.
Part 1 | Part 2

The band are also doing a webchat with The Sun, and you have until October 31st (that's Monday) to submit your questions for the guys. Click here for more info. Thanks to Josie for that. Also on the same day, they're doing another webchat on mykindaplace.com at 4.30pm.

The DVD of Ticket Outta Loserville will feature not only the promo video, but also a home movie, a game and a poster. CD2 will have U-Myx, where you can remix your own version of Ticket Outta Loserville, plus an interview with Son Of Dork and an exclusive live video. It will also have a pincode on it (for free), and if you're lucky, it could be one of 50 golden tickets to meet the band.

However, if you don't get a winning code, you could also meet them at a signing for Ticket Outta Loserville (and if you go, AND get a 'golden ticket', you're just bloody lucky :-p):
10th November - HMV, 114 The Mall, Cribbs Causeway, Bristol - 7pm*
11th November - Woolworths, The Rushes, Loughborough - 5pm

To go to the one in Bristol, you MUST have a wristband, which can be obtained by going to the store any time after it opens that day. Bear in mind that each person can only get two.

*before this, the band will be performing at the ice rink as part of The Mall's Winter Wonderland. Son Of Dork will be performing from 6.15 - 6.30pm before switching on the Christmas lights at 6.45pm.

26.10.05
...the Son Of Dork website says that 10 Woolworths stores in the UK will have 60 signed copies of the Ticket Outta Loserville single EACH. I'm preeeeetty sure they got something wrong there, cause I somehow don't think the guys would have signed 600 CDs lol.

Speaking of their website, HOW ANNOYING IS THAT GAME ON THE MAIN PAGE NOW?! Not being on broadband, it seems to be taking even longer than it did to begin with and I keep getting frustrated with it lol.

Also, thanks to insomnia, I have just been picture hunting on radio station websites. CLICK HERE to see them! I rooted up a picture from Minster FM, one that was on a few sites, so I'm not sure where exactly it's from, and one (of sorts) from Viking FM, which I think is taken from the gig Son Of Dork appeared at to celebrate passing GCSE's or something. I also found some pictures from Lincs FM, as well as an audio file of the extended interview.
Some more pictures are on rexfeatures.com, and according to Rockdirt.com, some of them are from Red Dragon FM.
In other SoD news, I found out that in a big charity auction a few days ago, you could bid on a private performance by the band. Bit of random info there. I really need to get my Son Of Dork site up, don't I lol.

25.10.05
Some videos! I posted one yesterday, but I decided to put them together.

Thank you to Yaara:
Interview on TOTP Reloaded.

Thank you to the staff at jbs.com:
Performance on TOTP Reloaded. :-D

There's also an article about James/Michael Jackson here, poor guy. Still, it's cool that he's been asked to perform on Michael Jackson's charity single.

24.10.05
Ooooh, you can listen to a clip of the live version of Ticket Outta Loserville here! So for anyone abroad who's not sure if they should risk texting to get the full song, you can buy it from there. :-) And in fact, there's a nice big picture of one of the CD covers there, as well.

Also something for Fightstar fans on there, too - previews of Grand Unification Part 1 (single, demo and live versions) as well as their cover of Last Days Of April's Days I Recall Being Wonderful, and an acoustic version of Waste A Moment.

23.10.05
Son Of Dork are in today's Sunday Times Culture magazine. I don't know about you, but I think it's a really good and honest interview. Sophie and Helen have both kindly typed it up for me here. Helen has also scanned it, I've cut it down so it's just the picture, cause the rest is just text. :-) Thanks very much for it!!

Oh yeah, gigs that they have appeared at, which I forgot to mention. They were at Bowling For Soup on the 16th, and at (or James was, at least lol) Backstreet Boys a couple of nights ago.

They're also in It's Hot, I don't think I said that either. And just because my Son Of Dork fansite isn't up yet, there is a little interview with Steve in Bliss.

I have lots of homework to do before Wednesday (which is when I'm back at school), but I'm going to try and find time to get sodfans.org up. :-)

21.10.05
Aaaand I'm calm. Ha. I have some more pictures from Sarah coming soon, and I may upload (if I get permission :-p) her recording of Son Of Dork live at the radio station.

Anyway, some more CD covers:-

That's CD2 -> DVS of Ticket Outta Loserville. :-)

Apparently James has also been saying that he thinks Son Of Dork are lyrically better than Simple Plan... bit random. He's probably right with some songs, though.

20.10.05
HOLY FRUMPLENUTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE SARAH SO MUCH. <333

!!!!!!!!!!!!ISORAWLKC"O%*£:%)"!£!O)!!

*calms down* Is that new video on Son Of Dork's main page (it's been on there a couple of days, at least) another version of the Ticket Outta Loserville video, or just a random thing? Oo.

The boys are also on GMTV next Friday. That's NEXT Friday, not tomorrow heh.

19.10.05

Album cover! No tracklisting yet, though.

18.10.05
Wahey, James on MTV news about meeting Michael Jackson, courtesy of Yaara. :-) Click to download!

Libi has posted a couple of pictures of Matt and James at the McFly gig they went to here, thought those might be of interest. They're copyrighted, but good pictures.

Also an article on Son Of Dork on the MTV website here. AND AND AND they're apparently performing an exclusive acoustic track (The Little Things, it will be on their album) on their radio tour, so I'm hoping someone's recorded that!

Rich has asked me to plug his Sic Puppy wristband on eBay, because it's not available from the website or anywhere else. So, being the nice person I am :-p, there you go.

Following a few questions I've received recently, I'd like to state that this site is staying open. I will probably change this page so instead of updates, it's just a welcome message or something explaining what the site's about, but it will stay here as a tribute to Busted. The main page (the index page) will have links to fso.com, sodfans.org (when that's open) and, if I open a Matt fansite, then that too, as well as this site.

17.10.05
Questions are answered up to October 9th, I'll do last week's later. :-)

And Yaaaaaara, I am an idiot and closed your MSN window. If you read this before I speak to you, can you please send me the link to that MTV video again?! To everyone else: that's a video from MTV news about James meeting Michael Jackson.

Also, some random news from Tony - Thunderbirds Are Go was the 10th best song of 2004 on Smash Hits earlier, wahey. :-D

16.10.05
Well, that was nice. The internet decided to break ALL DAY. Ah well. You can download the Popworld (Son Of Dork video shoot) video here, thanks to Saku, and the CD:UK performance here, thanks to jbs.com. :-)

You can pre-order an exclusive download of the demo version of Fightstar's next single, 'Grand Unification Part 1', out October 31st, by texting 'FIGHTSTAR' to 81330. Texts cost £1, and you will be sent a pin number which you can use on fightstarmusic.com on and after October 31st.

I've also made a wallpaper of James (finally! ha), so go see that in the wallpaper section. :-) I didn't quite get the tuning pegs on the guitar right in the PSD picture, but blah.

And finally, I've answered some questions... I would probably have finished the lot today, damn internet!

15.10.05
Son Of Dork were on Popworld and CD:UK earlier. If, like me, you missed Popworld, that's repeated... some time, I'm going to look into that lol, while CD:UK is repeated later at 2.20am.

There is also something on The Box at 10pm tonight called 'The Changing Face Of James Bourne' or something.

14.10.05

There is an interview with Son Of Dork here, it's quite interesting. I'm thinking James should calm down a bit, though. And change some of the song titles, erp.

Some video downloads:-

TRL interview [160mb] | MTV Backstage interview [90mb]

Biiig files, I know, but they're high quality. If I can, I'll get smaller versions up. Huge thank you to Yaara for taking the time to upload those!

And finally, just to let you know that I will be starting up a proper Son Of Dork website - sonofdorkfans.org! I'll get that up in the next few days, and I'll add all the updates from here to it as well.

13.10.05
Rarrggh, I am back! I hath been working, and socialising, and all that jazz.

1. Fake (yes, people, FAKE) James blog on TOTP website. It's a bit silly, although I laughed at the 'proper charlie' thing.
2. James with Michael Jackson - someone posted about this on the busted.com boards a few days ago, but I didn't mention it on here cause no one knew whether to believe it. Anyway, Michael was staying at Dorchester Hotel, and people reported that they saw James there as well - and apparently he's been invited back to Neverland, too. Bet James is over the moon!
3. Son Of Dork were on TRL earlier. Apologies for not saying about that. :-(

11.10.05
TOTP has some Son Of Dork pictures up here. Is it wrong that I find the caption story funny? They also have a wallpaper up here, it's only Dave and James, though.

10.10.05
According to The Sun, Son Of Dork will be performing at this year's Smash Hits! Poll Winners Party on November 20th - thanks to Sammi for letting me know about that.

09.10.05
Rargh, this computer decided the internet didn't exist earlier, so I'm sorry I haven't updated before now. Son Of Dork were on MTV Backstage Live today - hopefully someone will upload it for people like me who don't have Sky. :-) Anyway, apparently Danny said there are FIVE versions of the video for Ticket Outta Loserville. What the hell lol. My mate suggested they could just have different endings (the Loserville sign falls on a different member in each one), but there is also a late night version of it, involving a girl lying on James when he's on the bed. Oo. And there's a bit of tit-flashing, too. More Oo.

There is also an interview from the CD:UK website about how dorky Son Of Dork are.. bet they're going to get that all the time, aren't they. :-p Anyway, you can read that here and also view some pictures here.

On another note, PLEASE KEEP VOTING FOR THIS SITE IN THE DMA AWARDS!!!! I think they take place next Saturday so there's not much time left. I'm not expecting to win, but I'd like to do well, hehe. <333 Thanks to everyone who has voted already, loveth you all. <3

08.10.05
Son Of Dork were on CD:UK earlier, and you can download the video of the interview here, courtesy of the staff at jbs.com. You can also download the Ticket Outta Loserville video here. :-)

You can also catch the boys tomorrow at 6.30pm on MTV Backstage Live.

And to answer some questions (which I will be answering properly later!), I honestly don't know what time Son Of Dork are going to be at any of the radio stations. Apparently the appearance at Fox FM has been cancelled, I'm not sure why.

06.10.05
One of the b sides on the Ticket Outta Loserville single will be a cover of Jackson 5's I Want You Back hahaha, how cool. Hopefully they'll still be using End Up Like This as well.

Also, apparently the intro of their album will be an instrumental track leading into choir chanting Son Of Dork. Oish! Hahah, and Steve, Chris and Danny live together. Lots of random news coming in.

04.10.05
You can download Son Of Dork's performance of Ticket Outta Loserville on TOTP here, and also the clip from CD:UK here! Thank you to the jbs.com staff for sending me those links. :-)

The band are going on a radio tour, so you can see/hear them doing acoustic sets at the following stations:-
Monday 10th: Unique (Guildford), Power (High Wycombe), Fox FM (Oxford)
Tuesday 11th: BRMB, Mercia, 2Ten, GWR Swindon, Star FM, GWR Bristol
Wednesday 12th: Real Radio (Cardiff), Bridge FM (Bridgend), Red Dragon (Cardiff), The Wave (Swansea)
Monday 17th: Minister FM (York), Lincs FM (Lincoln) and Bridlington live event for Viking FM
Tuesday 18th: Hallam FM (Sheffield), Metro (Newcastle), TFM (Stockton)
Wednesday 19th: Key 103, Radio City (Liverpool)
They're also doing an interview at the York radio on the 17th.

03.10.05
Son Of Dork were at another McFly gig last night, with Kara and her sister, Hannah.

You can also read an interview with James here.

02.10.05
A few people have reported that Son Of Dork were at the McFly gig last night with Fletch, apparently Dave was spotted dancing around like a loon lol.

There is an interview with Kara Tointon here - I'm posting this because she speaks quite a bit about her relationship with James, and confirms that they are no longer together. It's quite a nice interview, though.

01.10.05
Was that it? CD:UK has gone to shit and I watched it just for 10 seconds of Son Of Dork on their video set, with James saying Matt wants to do something with them, and they're all still friends but they're moving on musically? (or something along those lines) Bah.

Bring on tomorrow, then! They're gracing TOTP at 7pm on BBC2.

In other news, Son Of Dork have apparently been added to the Kerrang! radio playlist. Oo. Also, George has sent me a picture of James, Matt and Emma at the McFly gig last night; you can see that here.

Son Of Dork are also in next week's Smash Hits (as well as this week's), but it's just a lyrics page. Some of them are wrong, but some have cleared up a few bits we weren't sure about. :-) Thanks very much to Jennifer for sending me the scan - click!

And finally, another picture which I don't think I posted. James and Matt were out together a couple of weeks ago, and I know I posted one picture (this), but some people sent me another one and I don't think I put it up. So click to see that. :-)
