Blush! joins Mattie, Charlie and James to see the fashion, food and fights on the video shoot for their fab new tune, You Said No

What's the video about?
Mattie: We're on BMXs trying to impress a group of gorgeous girls, but we're not that good. These other guys take us on in a grudge match and we lose - but at least we're better singers!
Charlie: And James falls ove and gets helped by a nurse.
James: The video wasn't our original idea, but it's very much like something that we would have come up with anyway. We think it's really cool and hope our fans love it just as much.
Charlie: Yeah, we reckon it's our best one yet!

James: This is me with my guitar. Do you like the pose? I was watching the professional BMX riders doing their tricks and stuff.
Charlie: Those guys are the best in the country.
James: Yeah, but in the video we do all our own stunts - honest!

Charlie: Here I am ready for a bit of action on my BMX.
Mattie: I think we looked the business in our helmets. What do you reckon?
Charlie: We're not great on BMXs, but don't tell anyone!

Charlie: These are all the fit model birds.
James: They're in th vid as our 'love interests'.
Mattie: We did a flirting scene with them and we kept getting our bits wrong. So we had to keep re-shooting that section - it was a tough job!

James: That's me delving into my coat pocket trying to find my wallet or phone. I know I'm wearing the same shirt in every photo but I DO have others - promise!
Mattie: Our stylists get us clothes for the video shoots. But he only buys us stuff that we like and would wear anyway.

Charlie: There was a real cat fight at one point between some of our fans who came down to the shoot to see us.
James: I didn't know what to do but Mattie was ace - he was like, 'What's going on? Break it up!'
Charlie: He was trying to act like an adult!
Mattie: Our fans had to wait around a lot so I went over to say hello and have a chat. But this girl is just glaring - she doesn't look happy at all!

James: I love this shot. It's in the video. See how the shadow falls around us? It's so cool.
Mattie: The video only took two days to film and it was quite chilled out. Our fans were great - that's them watching us.
Charlie: I hung out with them all after we'd finished the shoot. It was like a group of love - aah!
James: Do we sound like Darius?

Mattie: This scene isn't in the video. It's just James filling up - we love our food.

Mattie: See! We love our fans so much, we let them star in our videos.
Charlie: We put an ad on our website for fans to come down. We only expected 150, but 400 turned up!
