These three fellows, James (19), Mattie (20) and Charlie (18) scored different hits in England and are busy to conquer the rest of Europe. In Holland they are pretty well on their way with their single Year 3000. Girlz! asked Charlie Busted some things.</i><p> <b>In England and the rest of Europe they re called Busted, but because Holland all ready has a band called Busted, James, Mattie and Charlie decided to call themselves Bust here.. Out of respect for the Dutch band. It doesn t really matter actually. Cus Bust seems to win from the Dutch Busted when its about popularity. But it isn t as bad as in England, cus the boys are amazingly hot there.  We cant even walk on the streets properly. We will be going crazy about the fans and they all want an autograph or they wanna take a picture. Its kinda cool, but its nice to go to a pub, without pushy fans. Here in Amsterdam is that possible and that s cool. , as Charlie says. He went clubbing with James and Mattie here in Amsterdam and the guys didn t know what they were seeing: coffee shops, kissing men on the streets, the red light district. 'Holland is so cool, everything is possible! I can say  shit on TV. In England they would put a bleep over it, but you can do everything here. I would move immediately.'</b><p> <b>On the road</b><br> Busted saw a lot of the world. They ve been to Scandinavia, Germany and France lately.  Actually, we ve been everywhere in Europe, except Spain and Italy. That s a pity, cus I love Italian food. My favourite is spaghetti Bolognese!' Says Charlie while he s licking his lips.  Hmm, only thinking about it, is making me hungry! Because Year 3000 is in every hitlist, Busted is touring a lot. The boys are almost never home. They sleep almost every night in a hotel room. 'I always take my own dvd and cd player with me, so that I feel a bit at home and watch a movie. I buy loads of CD s and DVD s. I spend all my money on that.' But he buys a lot of gifts for his family too. 'My mum thinks it s a pity that she doesn t see me that much anymore, but she s happy for me. My parents supported me from the beginning. I wanted to quit with school to concentrate me fully on the band and they let me do it. There are not much parents that would let their kid do that just to go into the music. That s why I m so happy that it worked out so well! Now I can prove that is wasn t all for nothing. And they are so proud! Yesterday, my mum was on local TV to tell about me and Busted. That was pretty cool!' says Charlie with a big smile on his face.<p> <b>Girls</b><br> James, Mattie and Charlie are all three single. And also they have the well known excuse: no time for a girlfriend! But Charlie doesn t have to complain about the attention that he gets. With his special looks, he was always in the middle of the attention. 'I used to play in a school band and got lots of attention from the girls. Of course, that s good for my ego, but I want a girl to like me for who I am, not cause I m tough or anything. By the way, I think it's cool to flirt. We club a lot and if I see a nice girl, I always try to make eye contact. And when I notice that she likes me too, I go to her. But I don t do that so fast. I m too afraid to get blown off. I don t have a something that I thought of before, I m just spontaneous! I would love to have a steady girlfriend, though, but I want to cuddle her with gifts and stuff. And I cant do that while I m away so much.' Charlie looks like a tough guy, but he has a small heart deep inside. 'When I ve got a girlfriend, I totally go for it!' But what does his perfect lady look like? 'I like blondes mostly, but appearance isn't the most important thing. And she has to be cool and confidant. I fall in love pretty quickly, a bit too quickly.'<p> <b>Summer</b><br> In spite of their busy schedule, the management took care of a two weeks off in August. The guys have the time to rest and to chill a while then. Charlie want to go on a holiday. 'I m not quite where to go. As long as there are white beaches, palm trees, and a blue sea. I prefer to go to Thailand, but I ve heard that it rains there in the summer. So maybe it ll be the Maldives, or the Caribbean. With who, he doesn t know yet.  I ll see! But not with James or Matt. We re good friends, but we find it nice to have some space and time for our selves and our friends and family every now and then.'<p> <b>Future</b><br> The Busted singles are flying out off the stores and the boys keep some of the money of course. Charlie bought a Porsche. 'But I don t have my licence yet, but when I do, I ll go touring in my sports wagon! Charlie s biggest dream is to win a MTV-award.  It ll be fantastic! I also think its cool to act in a movie. No, no action movie, bit something with a good storyline. Now I m thinking about it& .a comedy would be cool. Something like American Pie. James and Matt have to be there in too. Yeah, that would be sooo cool!'<p> </body> </html>
