Welcome, The one and only BUSTED!<br> <b>All:</b> Yeah!<br> <b>SS:</b> Welcome back, It's been a while but yes, you're here, it's good to see you again<br> <b>J:</b> Nice to be back in The Fridge<br> <b>C:</b> Good to be back<br> <b>M:</b> *laughs*<br> <b>C:</b> Freeeedge<br> <b>SS:</b> It's been a while, two massive tours, you've had a couple of Brit awards, second album later, it's all going brilliantly, still enjoying it as much as you used to?<br> <b>C:</b> Yep<br> <b>M:</b> It's even cooler now<br> <b>C:</b> It's even better, seriously<br> <b>J:</b> It's really really good<br> <b>SS:</b> Now that everyone knows you<br> <b>J:</b> And we go to loads of countries abroad stuff like that, and play good shows<br> <b>SS:</b> Fantastic<br> <b>J:</b> We're doing live shows abroad now, it's very exciting<br> <b>SS:</b> I still remember the first time you came down and one of the Invicta people thought you were work experience people<br> <b>J:</b> And that time when I nicked your guitar<br> <b>SS:</b> You nicked my guitar strap<br> <b>J:</b> Yeah. No, your guitar strap<br> <b>SS:</b> Yeah, still got it?<br> <b>J:</b> Don't know<br> <b>SS:</b> No, it's long dead and buried<br> <b>J:</b> I have to get you another one<br> <b>SS:</b> Yeah, I still haven't been able to play my guitar and it's just sitting there looking decorative in my room. How was the tour because we've heard nothing but good reports about it. You guys enjoy it?<br> <b>M:</b> Um, well, what's not to enjoy man?<br> <b>SS:</b> What are the best things?<br> <b>M:</b> Well, it was just incredible man<br> <b>J:</b> You get to sleep late and get up and do a show in the evening. What a great day.<br> <b>M:</b> It's all you do. We got up at 3 every day and went and ate catering, sound check, eat catering, go on stage infront of thousands of people, then go and get --------<br> <b>SS:</b> Any disasterous moments on the tour you care to share with us?<br> <b>C:</b> Not really man, it was a good tour<br> <b>M:</b> Charlie kept whacking his head<br> <b>C:</b> Yeah, I cracked my head a couple of times<br> <b>SS:</b> Someone said to me that there were a load of explosions, I didn't manage to get to the tour, so loads of explosions.<br> <b>J:</b> One went in my mouth.<br> <b>SS:</b> Smelt like burnt pig or something<br> <b>M:</b> Yeah they did<br> <b>J:</b> I tasted the burnt pig<br> <b>M:</b> Flames went into James' mouth<br> <b>J:</b> Some went in my mouth, I got a really burnt tongue<br> <b>C:</b> Sometimes there'd just be a random pyro go off for no particular reason<br> <b>SS:</b> It's to keep ypu on your toes. Alright, you're coming to Kent, Broadstairs<br> <b>M:</b> Yeah man<br> <b>C:</b> Big Place?<br> <b>SS:</b> Yeah, big place, big field, we'll take some pictures, send them to you before hand so you can check out the place. Air Hostess, third single taken from second album, give us an quick introduction<br> <b>M:</b> Well, we're on planes a lot now which is cool, so we decided to do a tally on which has the fittest air hostesses and it's Virgin by like 10 to 1<br> <b>SS:</b> By a mile<br> <b>J:</b> When do we next fly on an airline?<br> <b>M:</b> In about 2 weeks James<br> <b>J:</b> Uhhhhhh, yeah<br> <b>M:</b> Then we just decided to write a song about Air Hostesses.<br> <b>J:</b> Indeed<br> <b>SS:</b> Well here we go, This is The Fridge on Invicta FM, it's the new single from Busted, it's Air Hostess.<p> (Air Hostess)<p> <b>SS:</b> It's Invicta FM, this is The Fridge, It's Busted and Air Hostess<br> <b>C:</b> Yeah, Yeah<br> <b>SS:</b> Make some noise for that tune, it's out this week, brilliant video as well, you guys thinking you're Wesley Snipes and just climbing into a plane via the wheels<br> <b>C:</b> What a cracking film<br> <b>SS:</b> Did you feel like action heroes when you were doing it?<br> <b>C:</b> No because the plane wasn't actually moving<br> <b>SS:</b> But you must have felt like you were filming some really flash movie<br> <b>M:</b> Well we were kind of in this big green area 'cos it was all green screen<br> <b>SS:</b> Oh no, not green screen<br> <b>J:</b> Because we're on the runway they bought the green area to us, they had to make the green area around<br> <b>M:</b> Yeah that was pretty cool<br> <b>SS:</b> Did you manage to pull any of the air hostesses in the video<br> <b>M:</b> No, They were pretty moody<br> <b>J:</b> They didn't talk to anybody<br> <b>SS:</b> I was expecting a sort of celebrity air hostess<br> <b>M:</b> No<br> <b>SS:</b> Wouldn't it have been great to get Britney to do that?<br> <b>M:</b> That would have been so good<br> <b>J:</b> That would have been amazing<br> <b>SS:</b> That ship has sailed a little bit<br> <b>M:</b> We didn't look into that<br> <b>SS:</b> Now you guys are travelling around a lot in the future. I hear the plan is to spend the next six weeks in America, do six weeks here, six weeks in the US, Is that still the idea?<br> <b>M:</b> I don't think it's gonna be as much as six weeks now it's gonna be like shorter periods I think we're gonna spend in each place<br> <b>J:</b> We're definitely coming back more often<br> <b>M:</b> I just wanna like, go away, then come back and say,"Hi we're back, still like us?" and then go away again and come back<br> <b>J:</b> It's kind of a risk actually, it's kind of like leaving a party you don't know, when you come back, it might have died<br> <b>SS:</b> What a great way of putting it, very deep. What do you think your chances are in America?<br> <b>M:</b> We're gonna go over and give it a go man<br> <b>C:</b> 50/50 I'd say, It's the Big Apple to slice and dice if you know what I'm saying<br> <b>SS:</b> Well what sort of things do you have to do to break into America? What's the plan?<br> <b>M:</b> Well we're gonna be on a tour bus for like, ages<br> <b>C:</b> You know you have Party in the Parks over here, You have them out there but they're like 50 thousand times bigger, 'cos Americas so big so you have these massive Amphitheatre type venues<br> <b>J:</b> We're gonna go all over, we doing some shows for loads of people<br> <b>C:</b> Hundreds of thousands of people<br> <b>SS:</b> You supporting anyone particular over there or just going around<br> <b>J:</b> We're doing alot of, you know Party in the Park? We're doing lots of them<br> <b>C:</b> That's what I just said James<br> <b>J:</b> Huh?<br> <b>C:</b> That's what I just said.<br> (Over the top of James and Charlie)<br> <b>M:</b> The difference is, over there, you can like drive to Ireland in 4 hours but out there, it takes like 4 days to get to the next one.<br> <b>SS:</b> And I hear plans for a super album as well<br> <b>M:</b> A Super Album<br> <b>SS:</b> A big super album with both albums merged into one big thing, is that true?<br> <b>J:</b> Indeed<br> <b>M:</b> We're thinking about it, we're probably gonna have the singles from the first one and the rest of the second one, mix them up and take them out into the States<br> <b>C:</b> I think with the Party in the Parks that we're doing, are all over America, Kansas, Houston, Boston, Philadelphia, Long Island<br> <b>SS:</b> Let's face it, All those places, V, Broadstairs. Because I'm told that the crowd went mental<br> <b>C:</b> Yeah, sound system wasn't that great though<br> <b>SS:</b> No<br> <b>C:</b> Bit of a shame, wasn't amazing sound<br> <b>SS:</b> But that's the joy of dodgy venues, not that we're saying that they're a dodgy venue.<br> <b>M:</b> Just gonna say, watch Charlie being invited back to WestOneFour<br> <b>C:</b> Thing is though you get venues, we played the Underworld and the Garage and I think the sound is great at those venues.<br> <b>SS:</b> Yeah, the Garage is good<br> <b>C:</b> Yeah, the Garage and WestOneFour, It's more of a jazz bar you know. It was good fun though.<br> <b>SS:</b> Will Fightstar ever influence the sound of Busted?<br> <b>C:</b> Dunno man, Dunno<br> <b>SS:</b> They are heavier, for everyone who hasn't heard. We're doing like Party in the Darks or Party in the Parks<br> <b>SS:</b> It's gonna be good, 'cos it's cool<br> <b>C:</b> They're fun and all but to do our own headlining outside show<br> <b>M:</b> Everybody there on that list, not on that list, everybody there in that crowd has bought a ticket to see you<br> <b>J:</b> When you go to those Party in the Parks you see loads of people, and you can't really see the crowd on arena tours 'cos the lights are always turned down, house lights are turned on, you see the whole crowd, but like, in Party in the Park, outside in the light, you see everybody and all the way through the gig, you can see everybody and you really get the full experience of performing to a crowd<br> <b>M:</b> Oh yeah, we played a gig in Amsterdam, the other night, it was like for a thousand kids in a club. Over 16's standing gig, in a club and it was awesome, it was really small, then you do like these gigs and you look out and it's like, 12, 13, 14 thousand people come to see your gig and it's really cool.<br> <b>SS:</b> It's gonna be good.
