Pogo-ing popsters Busted talk about the pain of rejection and what's would be like to eat Britney Spears. Confused? Read on..

TOTP: So, Which tear-filled rejections inspired the new song 'You Said No'?
James: In this case it was Charlie's big blow out.
Charlie: It was a girl called Daisy Bell. She said No. I was at a ball, with all my mates in this massive disco room. She was younger than me. I went up to her and asked her if she wanted to dance.. and she said 'yeah I'll just go and get my friends.' I looked around and my friends were laughing and pointing at me.

TOTP: Aww.. what would you say to her if you met her now?
Charlie: Well apparently she doesn't even remember she did it. She's a friend of my sister and I asked her once and she claims she didn't remember. I could have gone in for a second crash but y'know, I didn't bother. And I didn't cry, I didn't shed one tear.

TOTP: Very brave! Are you concerned that the term 'Crash And Burn' might be seen as insensitive because of the war?
James: Well, it's just a lyric in the song. The song isn't about that kind of crashing and burning.
Charlie: Well it was called that originally, we changed it. It's just a phrase. Hot Hot Heat's song is nothing to do with war either. There is a fine line between it. I mean Jimmy Eat World had a song called 'Bleed America' and I can totally understand why that was pulled. I think sometimes there's a fine line that's all.
Matt: I think the people who makes these decisions run the risk of being too sensitive sometimes.
Charlie: Yeah, you can't nitpick and try to find that kind of thing where it doesn't exist.

TOTP: Blue and Blur are working on war songs. Have you been asked to get involved in that kind of thing?
James: I don't think anyone trusts us enough to that [laughs].
Charlie: We don't have a big enough political view on it to be honest. We see what everyone else sees and that's what the media give us so, if you can base anything on that then fair enough, but you can't totally trust that.
Matt: You can't take that stand about something that you don't know enough about.
James: If it's your genuine opinion and you feel strongly enough to voice your opinion through a song than that's fair enough, but it's not us.

TOTP: OK, You're about to tour, are you ready to rock?
Charlie: Yep. We're excited.
Matt: Yeah, we've got a massive tour bus.
Charlie: We've got Oasis' tour bus.
Matt: They had it before us but we're gonna trash it.
