UKMC 4: Okay tonight we'll kick off with a question from Xxsweetdream14x, who asks.. hi Busted, how are you today? Do you have any embarrassing stories, particularly ones involving cheese?

All: Hello, we're fine!

Charlie: James farts a lot and they smell of cheese!

UKMC 4: Markdore has an obvious question.. what did you go to school for?

Matt: The social times, my friends but apart from that, school sucked!

James: Because I had to. It's compulsory under the age of 16! If I hadn't had to go to school, I would've stayed at home all day and slept longer hours.

UKMC 4: StaMpingRaChel has a cynical question.. does the rebellious ska-punk school boy image reflects each of your personalities or was it just the wardrobe teams doing?

Charlie: We don't have a wardrobe team - we dress ourselves.

James: We customise the clothes.

UKMC 4: This question has come from our Kids channel.. I love you guys! Have you ever thought about making a Busted movie taking the mick of of your careers, similar to the Spice Girls' "Spiceworld"?

James: It would be good to do a Busted movie away from Busted.

Matt: Yes, one where we are the stars.

James: It would be us in a film but it would be nothing about us in it.

Matt: Spiceworld the movie was awful!

UKMC 4: So you fancy an acting career then?

Charlie: I really want to be in a film. Preferably with Britney Spears.

UKMC 4: Okay, moving on, Celticfhan would like to know.. when is your next single coming out?

Charlie: Second week of January. You can find out what it's like if you buy our album.

James: Buy our album, which is out now by the way.

Charlie: But you'll still want to buy the single cos it will have a good b-side on it.

Matt: The new single is pretty good - we shot the video for this week. It's very cool.

UKMC 4: The next question is.. did you enjoy Party in the Dark the other day?

Matt: It was wicked. I was very cold and I had to wear my jacket on stage.

Charlie: I went on stage in my beanie.

James: But I still wore my shorts.

UKMC 4: This question is from the Kids Channel.. if you were a pigeon, who would you poo on?

James: That's a brilliant question!

Matt: You've won some Busted merchandise for that question.

Charlie: Me and Matt would team up and do a double poo on Gareth Gates.

James: Yes, and after he cleaned himself up, I'd poo on him.

UKMC 4: The question is.. how have you coped with your newfound fame?

James: To begin with, it was really strange, but we're getting used to it now.

Matt: It's still strange how people who've never met you come up and say hi to you in the street, and the fans just know so much about you.

James: They know I like Jaffa Cakes.

UKMC 4: Next question comes from the Kids channel.. did you enjoy making the Trisha show?

Matt: Trisha kicks ass. Apparently she hates smoking and we were in our dressing room puffing away and someone said 'Trisha's coming' so we were all trying to blow away the smoke.. apart from that, Trisha is very cool.

UKMC 4: The next question is.. if you could do a soundtrack for any movie, what would it be?

All: American Pie

Charlie: I'd do Van Wilder

UKMC 4: Another one from our Kids Channel.. hey Mattie, James and Charlie! What are your favourite TV programmes? (obviously not Dawson's Creek!)

Charlie: The Simpsons, ironically (my surname's Simpson)

James: Trisha..

Matt: I don't watch enough TV these days, but I do like Alan Partridge.

UKMC 4: And another from the kids.. do you miss your family when you go on tour?

Matt: Yeah, big time

James: Very much so, it's traumatic..

UKMC 4: Tell us the whole story, starting with this question from Sean789551.. who came up with the name Buster for the band?

Matt: It was Buster because of Buster Robinson, the great train robber but everyone thought it sucked.

James: I was the biggest hater of that name, I think it sucked more than anything has ever sucked before.

Matt: Geri Halliwell introduced us wrong on MTV once, and we thought it sounded better so we changed it.

UKMC 4: MGoodfe459 has insider info.. my sister was in your video yesterday - why did you decide to have fans in your video?

Charlie: We needed a crowd.

Matt: We wanted to give them an experience.

James: The truth is, we love our fans.

Charlie: We needed people who looked like they liked us.

UKMC 4: Amycan123 has another obvious one.. have you ever been busted for anything?

Charlie: Cliché!

Matt: For sneaking out at night

Charlie: The old sneaker.. thats the classic bust.

UKMC 4: Xcollettex asks.. how does it feel knowing you have millions of girls liking you?

Charlie: Do we? If you've ever seen Sabrina, she's got a confidence cupboard where she opens the cupboard and everyone claps for her, it's like that.

James: It does wonders for the ego.

UKMC 4: Xxsaraxx89 asks.. what's the best thing a fan has done for you?

Charlie: I got given some cool necklaces

James: There are fans that travel great distances without tickets to the gigs, just cause they want to come down and see us and that's really cool.

UKMC 4: Scooby hooby asks.. how did it feel when your single went to number three in the UK charts?! loadsa luv Nikola x x x

Matt: I was gobsmacked!

James: I was in a cab when I found out, I started screaming at the cab driver and he didn't clock until ten seconds later.

UKMC 4: CottonCandyLauz really needs to know.. what's your favourite farm animal?

James: It's gotta be the duck.

Matt: I used to have two pet ducks.

Charlie: Mine is the piglet - not the pig - the piglet.

James: I also like lambs. Not sheep, lambs.

UKMC 4: In a similar vein.. BJCKCrouch asks.. what's your favourite biscuit?

Matt: Milk chocolate hob nobs.

Charlie: Rolo biscuits.

James: Does Twix count as a biscuit? Twix then. Twix takes the biscuit.

UKMC 4: FatherCockroach needs some advice.. what is the best bit of advice to a band who are just starting out?

Charlie: Write your own songs.

Matt: And practise.

James: Yeah, and ignore other people if they don't like your songs, stick to your own ideas.

UKMC 4: XBrItIsHxBaBeX asks.. who are the nicest famous people you've met so far?

All: S Club Juniors.

James: The Juniors are the coolest kids you've ever met. Daisy is a massive Busted fan, so they buy our singles and we buy theirs.

UKMC 4: TommyLTravis wants to know.. Busted, if you could take one CD album to a desert island, what would it be?

Charlie: Mine would be Deftones - 'White Pony'.

James: Mine would be any Michael Jackson album.

Matt: Mine would be 'Enema of the State' by Blink 182 or 'Take Off Your Pants and Jacket'.

UKMC 4: Lizardmaries asks.. hi Busted, loads of people admire you, but who do you all look up to?

Matt: I wanna be Dave Grohl, he's an absolute dude.

James: I look up to Justin Timberlake - he's done what I wanna do.

Charlie: I admire Neil Young for writing 'The Needle and the Damage Done'.

UKMC 4: Jennysweeties1986 has a decision for Mattie to make.. Mattie, if you had to snog either Kelly Osboune or Claire from Steps, who would you choose? xxx

Matt: Kelly Osbourne. She's got the biggest arse in the world, Claire from Steps that is, I'd be bored to death with Claire. I could have a laugh with Kelly.

Charlie: I'd go for neither, where's Britney when you need her?

UKMC 4: Moving on from that hot debate - ChristinaHoyle asks.. hi Busted, you're great, love your song! Just wanted to ask what you think of manufactured pop like Will Young and Gareth Gates?

James: I don't know what to make of it anymore.

Matt: I'm so bored of Gareth's face now.

Charlie: It's not about the music. If someone shaved Gareth Gates' eyebrows off, he wouldn't sell any records.

James: Do it when he's sleeping.

UKMC 4: Lcsvickers wants to know.. did you get to choose the woman who played your teacher in the video?

Matt: We thought she fitted in perfectly. If we had said no, she wouldn't have been in it but we didn't choose her ourselves.

UKMC 4: Ladyguina asks.. hey guys, if you were a girl for a day, what would you do?

Charlie: Look down a lot!

Matt: Stay at home.

James: Spend a day on my own.

Matt: Go to the swimming pool and walk around the changing rooms, I'd go to as many different changing rooms as I could find.

UKMC 4: Kazzy D101 asks.. do you all live together? You've all got really wicked hair, do you do it yourself?

Matt: Oh yes, unfortunately. As for the hair, would I do this myself? I could never do my hair.

UKMC 4: DappyBitch182 wants James to dish the dirt.. James, will you dish some dirt on the other two?

James: You know what? Dirt on the other two, I don't know, there's not really much dirt to dish. I wouldn't tell secrets because they wouldn't be secrets anymore.

Charlie and Matt: Well said.

UKMC 4: XBlueBabex asks.. what's it like to have a record deal before the age of 18?

James: It's cool.

Matt: I was 18 when we signed and it was still absolutely immense.

James: You get put into a position at an early age where you can be a lot more independent than other people your age.

Charlie: I was 16 and I was loving it.

UKMC 4: Jec1189 wants to know.. so what snooker player does James look like?

James: I don't think I look like a snooker player, but I am good at snooker

Matt: Yes.

James: Yeah, if someone paid a million pounds, I would.

UKMC 4: Maxette12345 asks.. do you have girlfriends?

Matt + James: No

Matt: For how long, is up to you.

UKMC 4: Leigh694 asks.. who is the biggest prankster among you?

Matt: I've always been a prankster, but Charlie doesn't appreciate them, he doesn't like having pranks pulled on them. I can pull my friends trousers down in the pub and they don't care..

James: Some pranks aren't funny, when we were waiting for our chart position from our manager Fletch, if he had told us we'd gone in at 38 that wouldn't have been funny.

UKMC 4: Groovyloma asks.. what have you guys got planned over the next year?

Matt: We're doing the Smash Hits tour starting on Saturday, and hopefully within about six to eight weeks the Year 3000 video will be on the video channels and a lot of you will be in it too.

UKMC 4: SillyHappyCow asks (again).. if you could be any cartoon character, who would you be and why?

Matt: Any cartoon character? Bugs Bunny - he's the dude.

James: He is the dude.

Matt: He never gets made to look the idiot.

James: I like Elmer Fudd, 'cause he gets to shoot guns all day, but I wouldn't hunt Bugs Bunny, because I like him. I'd go and get Porky Pig.

Matt: Porky Pig was a loser, he was a wimp.

James: The turtle in Robin Hood is the biggest loser in cartoons, he was so feeble.

Matt: One day Wild Coyote is going to get that Roadrunner.

James: I've always wanted to fly so maybe I'd be Dumbo.

UKMC 4: Xxsweetdream14x asks.. if you guys couldn't sing what do you think you would be doing right now with your lives?

James: Recently, being on the Year 3000 video, there was a lot of animation and designing characters. I think that'd be cool to draw characters that become household names. I can draw one thing - Sonic the Hedgehog. Oh, and a muscly arm.

Matt: I'd like to work in a record company, 'cause then you'd still be involved.

James: And it'd be really cool to be an FBI agent, really high up, working in Area 51.

Matt: Or to be like James Bond, and have a lisence to do anything.

James: I'd like to be stupidly clever and work at MI6, anything like that would be cool.

UKMC 4: Billiejoesstalka asks.. have any of you got any secret tattoos or piercings? I recently came home with my nose pierced and my mum wasnt impressed..

Matt: Once again I could tell you or it wouldn't be a secret.

James: I have a tattoo but I'm not going to tell you where it is.

Matt: and I can tell you for sure that you'll never ever see James' tattoo.

James: That's right, you won't.

Matt: I got my eyebrow pierced when England played Scotland, I said that I'd get my eyebrow pierced if we won but I forgot to tell my mum. She said it looked like shrapnel.

UKMC 4: Grctts1388 has the final question for the boys.. do you know if you have a tribute band yet?

Matt: No, but if we do I'd bet they're called Buster, 'cause we'd hate that.

James: I'd love it if there was a Busted tribute band.

Matt: I'd go and see them twice a week.

James: If they came and watched us we'd probably let them take over for a bit.

Matt: If you could have anyone be you in a Busted tribute band who would it be?

James: I'd like to see Justin Timberlake do it, so he could show me how my parts should be sung.
