Meet and Greet

'Hey ! Look at this one!" you squealed excitedly as you gazed at a magazine. 'Wow! They look so hot on that one.." she replied now gazing at the same magazine. You smiled as you gazed at James, Charlie and Matt. This picture of them was hot. 'I cant believe my mum is letting me go to that signing tomorrow ! We are actually going to see them...for real...' you said grinning. 'I know. Its so good. Dya think will like this top?' she asked holding this colored top up. 'Course he will. You'll make him swoon whatever you wear!' you replied smiling. You both giggled. 'We had better get to sleep actually. We gotta get up early tomorrow to get ready' said grinning. You put the magazines away and dived under your duvet..

'...! Come on! We are gonna be late!' yelled at you as you pulled your shoes on as fast as possible. "OK OK! Im coming!' you yelled back. You glanced at your watch-11.45am. You were heading to for the Busted signing that started at 5pm! You grabbed your bag, checked you had your CD player and headphones (with Busted CD in...obviously!), a few magazines, the 2 CD's you wanted signing, your mobile and your purse. 'Right! Im ready!' you squealed as you grabbed your coat and ran down the stairs. was stood at the bottom hopping about cos she was so excited. 'I cant believe it's today!' she gasped. 'I know!' you replied as you walked out the door and down the street. At about 12.15pm you and were just getting off the bus in town when you heard a few girls walking by and talking about something. In between the sounds of cars driving past and the hustle and bustle of the town centre you heard one girl saying 'I told Id see him at the signing! I dont think he believed me but I'll show him!' The girl spotted you looking at her and gave you a very smug look then carried on walking. You stopped walking as your head slowly turned to . Her jaw was on the floor aswell-she had heard it. 'No way...do you think she knows him or something?' she asked. You gawped at the group of girls walking ahead and shrugged. 'Hope not!' you replied helplessly. You both continued walking till you spotted the store where the signing was being held. A line of barriers that ran at the back of the store and around the corner into the distance and already been erected. There was a group of about 30 girls who were sat or stood behind the barriers. You and joined the queue at the back. You sat down on your coats and began listening to your CD players.

A few hours later...

It was about half 3 and by now you had listened to your CD about 5 times (not that you minded), read your magazines from cover to cover (even the adverts!) and had been to the nearby McDonalds 3 times! 'Why is time going so slowly?' sighed. You shrugged again. You sat watching a few more girls joining the queue and noticed they were wearing school uniforms. 'All the schoolies will be coming down soon!' you said nodding your head towards the girls. nodded. Within the next hour about a million more people had joined the queue and the time for sitting on the floor had gone. You were both huddled together and talking with a group of girls that had arrived just after you. 'Really? She said she knew ?' a girl gasped. 'Well she said she'd spoken to him..' you explained. 'It's that girl there..' you whispered discreetly pointing to the girl. The girl was pushing her friend to hold a pocket mirror for her as she applied another coat of mascara (probably the 10th time you had seen her do this..) As you stood chatting it seemed that this rumour of a girl actually knowing had spread right to the end of the queue and back again. Suddenly burst out into a fit of giggles. 'What?' you asked tapping her on the shoulder. She spun around. 'You-know-that-girl?' she gasped in between giggles. You nodded. 'Well apparently she is his sister and is giving out tickets to one of their concerts!' she said still giggling. You started laughing as well. 'How mad can rumours get?' you replied. It was obvious this girl wasn't his sister because she was only a few feet in front of you and you kept hearing the girls around her asking 'How do you know him?' and all she kept saying was 'Oh..we met a few weeks ago..' Even though she wasn't 's sister it was very apparent that girls further along the line thought she was because you could see them all gawping at her. It was getting colder now and there was still another half an hour to go before the lads were due to arrive. You and stood chatting to other girls nearby. 'Oooh-look what Ive got !' a girl gushed. She lifted a medium sized purple bag out of a carrier bag and then pulled something out of the bag. It was a big fluffy teddy. You and looked at each other and stifled a giggle. It wasn't exactly the kind of gift you would give . 'Aaaww wow! Thats really...cute!' you said smiling. After what seemed like an eternity it was finally 4.45pm-the time the lads were due to arrive. Everyone had seemed to be thinking the same thing as you-which way would the lads be coming from. Frantic eyes searched both ends of the road. 'God...where are they?' you heard a girl sigh. Then suddenly her question was answered. A loud cheer went up at the end of the queue and gradually everyone realised why. Driving down the road was a big people carrier. You looked at and said 'They're here!!!!!!' and you both started screaming at the top of your voice. The vehicle continued to drive down the road and then it stopped. Even though people were still screaming it seemed to go a lot quieter as if people were waiting in anticipation. The door clicked and slid back and out stepped . The girl with the teddy squealed loudly. jumped out of the van grinning and he was followed by some guy who looked very familiar. It was Fletch. They all waved and began to make their way over to the shop. 'Come on...where are you?' a voice said inside your head. still hadnt got out of the car. And then he did. He climbed out of the car and stood in front of it for a while. God did he look hot? His hair was all spiky (just the way you liked it!) and he was smiling.... Enough said. You gazed at him smiling and for a second you could of swore that he looked right at you... turned around after a while and began to follow the others.

The atmosphere around you had totally changed. The lads were here and everyone was screaming, jumping and shouting louder than ever. The volume of the shouts and screams gradually decreased and it seemed everyone was getting ready to see them. grabbed your arm and squeezed it. 'God were actually going to meet them...' she squealed excitedly. 'I know!' you squealed back. The patience that everyone had kept whilst waiting had vanished. Nobody could keep still knowing that the 3 lads they were dying to meet were just a few metres away from them. About 10 minutes later a man walked out of the back entrance that the lads and Fletch had walked through. He grinned at everyone and began to speak: "The lads are ready to see you now.. (the volume of the screams suddenly went back up and then died away as everyone listened to what this man had to say) In a minute I will be letting groups of about 30 into the building where you will make your way up the stairs and follow the staff to the signing table. You are allowed only 1 item to be signed-the lads have got a lot of you to see! Im afraid once you have met the lads and have your signed item returned to you, you must leave by the stairs opposite the table and leave the store." he finished. "Everyone ready?" A massive 'YES' was the response. "Ok then... girls? Off you go..." he said moving the barrier at the front of the queue to one side. A large group of girls moved through the barrier excitedly running towards the back door. "27...28...29....30...oh-go on then...you aswell!" he let another girl out and then moved the barrier closed again. You and watched jealously as you saw the girl who 'knew' strut up to the door with a smug smile on her face. She looked back..straight at you. You heard her say "C'mon girls...time to show how much I love him..." You scowled at her but she just smiled and walked through the door. "She's a cow aint she?" whispered. You nodded. Even though it was highly unlikely that she actually knew you still couldnt help wishing you wanted to be her just in case... The man went to move the barrier again after a while-this was it. You and grinned at each as you made your way past the man and towards the door. You heard a few squeals of '..I cant believe we are meeting them..' and '..do you think will like my hair?' but all you could think of was . Nothing else. Not your hair. Not your clothes. Not even the album you were clutching in your hand... the album that in a few minutes would be in Busted's hands. No... just . You climbed the stairs with at your side smiling more than ever. You saw the staff of the store kind of forming a pathway from the back entrance to a room that was obviously the signing room. Your heart was beating so fast you could hear it and your hands were shaking with nerves. 'Right... . Do I look alright?' asked you with a kind of desperation in her voice. You had never seen her like this... she was usually so calm but now.. she was jittery and nervous. You and inched forward as the line drew closer and closer. Every now and then you would hear a squeal from an over-excited girl. Closer and closer... And then you saw them.

Matt, James and Charlie all sat at a table smiling and signing away. was grinning away as a girl hugged him as her friend took a photo and was just signing away. was sat right at the end and looked... well there was only one word to describe him-gorgeous. His hair was just as it was when he had arrived and it looked sooo nice. He looked up from signing a cd slip and, this time for real, he looked straight at you and smiled. You nearly dropped your cd slip. '! What are you doing?' asked as she saw you grasping at the paper. 'He just looked at me...again!' you whispered still gawping at who had returned to the signing of endless items. You were only 3 people away and you were really excited. Suddenly a million thoughts rushed into your head: what if I say something really stupid? What if I dont say anything at all...they will all think Im a complete spaz... what if he really likes me and asks me out-You stopped at that one and almost laughed out loud because of its stupidity. 'Come on girls!' you heard a voice shout and pushed you forward gently. This was it. The moment you had been waiting for. You were stood facing the 3 most gorgeous lads ever and was smiling up at you. 'Got anything to sign?' he asked still smiling. Wow. His accent-so strong. 'Erm... yeah! This..' you mumbled nervously as you placed the cd cover on the table. 'So you like the new album do you?' he asked as he signed. 'Oh yeah...its excellent!' you replied noting just how stupid you sounded. 'Oh thanks... cya then!' he said grinning at you and he passed the cd slip on. Next was . 'Hi there! You alrite?' he asked beaming at you. Again you fumbled with your words. 'Erm..yeah Im fine thanks... w-what about you?' Your nervousness must've been showing because the next thing he said made you feel even worse. 'Why you nervous...its only us!' 'Its just that I er... really like you...I mean not like stalker like or anything...' you trailed off wanting to run away and hide in a dark cupboard forever. He was still beaming at you though and said 'Oh thats cool...that we got that sorted out then yeah!?' as he signed the cover. You smiled weakly. This was going from bad to worse and you were dreading the next seconds. was right in front of you. 'Careful with this one ...she's a tad nervous...' said looking from him to you. 'Right!' he replied. 'You shouldnt be nervous... And please smile.. You dont look very happy to be here!' he said looking straight at you. Oh no... great. The best day of your life and the one person you wanted to meet doesnt think you're enjoying it. 'No... I am' you told him forcing a smile onto your face. 'I know something that'll make you smile!' he said grinning. He stood up and leant forwards towards you. He was getting closer and you were sure you were about to faint. But just then he kissed you gently on the cheek. He sat back down and grinned and you. This time you couldnt help but grin back. You were on cloud 9. Heaven. A weird feeling of bliss swept over you.. 'Told you it would work! Ooh wait a min..' he said as he fumbled in his pocket... He pulled out a small piece of paper, scribbled something on it and then slipped it under your cd cover which he signed then handed back to you. Your hands brushed each others and he looked at you at grinned. 'Cya around...' he said softly. 'Yeah..bye..' you replied dreamily. You felt nudge you from behind and you started to walk. You wanted to look back but for some reason all you could do was smile... even walking was hard. 'What was that piece of paper he gave you?" whispered gaping at you. You hadnt even thought about it.. You picked up the signed cd cover out of your left hand to find yourself looking at the small piece of paper in it. What was it.....
